The Museum Committee of the Parrsborough Shore Historical Society was pleased to open the latest exhibit at the Ottawa House By-The-Sea Museum:  "Meet the Owners"

The "Hotel Years" section follows the house through its' various owners who ran it as an Inn.

This new exhibit has attempted to gather information, artifacts and anecdotes from the lives of all the individuals who have owned either the current building, or its' 1770's central core, from the time it was built up to the present.

Some artifacts are on display and more will be added or substituted, as they come available

While not entirely complete, the exhibit is to be considered dynamic and will change as further information comes to light, more visual evidence is located or more anecdotal history is unearthed.   The exhibit will introduce the visitor to the owners, and bring them to three dimensional life, making one realize that these were people, with lives, loves, fears, jealousies, faults and foibles.
