The Ottawa House By-The-Sea Museum was pleased to welcome an early visit by two provincial Ministers of the Government. Hon Bill Dooks and Hon Murray Scott arrived early in the morning, with their wives. for an exclusive tour of the facility and introduction to the changes occurring in the exhibits and the progress of the restoration project.
The Hon Murray Scott points out salient features of the architecture of the Ottawa House to Hon Bill Dooks While Minister Scott has been an active and vocal supporter of the restoration of the Ottawa House for some time, Minister Dooks was getting his first look at the facility as it exists, at the projects under way at the moment or being undertaken this summer, and at the long range plans for the building and the Partridge Island site. It was a genuine pleasure to host both Ministers however Minister Dooks quickly learned first hand that a foggy morning at Ottawa House was not the place for a light short sleeve shirt. Obviously Minister Scott has visited us before. Back |
