The Parrsborough Shore Historical Society runs a gift shop at the Ottawa House By-The-Sea Museum.

The Gift Shop is staffed on a purely volunteer basis by Society members and some of the participants.  The Gift Shop Committee is hoping to have the shop open at a minumum 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Thursday to Saturday and 2:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday.  As more participants agree to staff the space, the hours may be able to be expanded.

The purpose of the Gift Shop is to provide a source of additional revenue for the Society, to provide a marketing tool for the Society and locale artisans, and to involve members of the community.

Items for sale to date include quilting, knitting, crochet, handmade jewellery, books, decorative items and artwork.
