BURIED TREASURES
During the summer of '06, prior to the excavation of the drainage ditch to the rear of the Ottawa House, an archaelogical survey and partial excavation was conducted to ensure the ditch did not adversely impact on any extant features which might be of historical interest.
Hundreds of items of interest, mostly broken china and pottery, were recovered. Hopefully in the following pages, some of the history behind these recovered items will be outlined here, bringing a small part of the history of the Partridge Island site to life.
